Congratulations to VIPHS senior Camille, who got the call of a lifetime this week: she was admitted off the waitlist to Princeton University’s Class of 2030! 🐯

Camille got the news while attending her cousin’s graduation in NY, so was able to actually go out and visit the campus today! She thought she was headed to UC Berkeley this fall, but she’ll now be heading across the country to Princeton.

We are so proud of you, Camille! 🧡🖤

Congratulations to our VIPHS students in the Making Movies That Matter program, who won Best Animated Film!

Our Spring Dance was a huge success! 🌴✨

This year’s theme was Take Me Back to Rio, and Student Council did an amazing job bringing the energy, color, and fun to campus.

A huge thank you to our Student Council members and their advisor, Mrs. Grable, for putting on such a great dance for our students! 🎶💃🕺

Our STEM Club is hard at work preparing for the 32nd Annual Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition at UCLA this May 🏗️🌉 Hosted by American Society of Civil Engineers, this full-day event brings together hundreds of local high school students to design, build, and test their bridges while also competing in technical reports, display boards, and presentations. We’re proud to see our students taking on such a fun and demanding engineering challenge, and we can’t wait to cheer them on. Go VIPHS! 💙

The promise we make to families is clear: meaningful college opportunity in a small-school environment. It is a promise we have kept consistently and one to which we remain deeply committed.

A big congratulations to our eight VIPHS students admitted to UC Santa Barbara — an outstanding result at a campus that has become far more selective than many families may remember. Out of a class just shy of 60, this is the most acceptances to UCSB we've garnered in a single year so far!

UCSB is no longer the kind of school anyone should casually think of as a “safety.” Even more impressive, three of those students were admitted to UCSB’s College of Creative Studies, an unusual and highly selective program understood to admit only around 10–15% of applicants. Designed for deeply self-directed students eager to pursue original, advanced work in their fields, CCS is one of the most distinctive undergraduate programs in the UC system. We are incredibly proud of this group.

Congratulations to our incredible VIPHS student performers and to Theatre Director Kate Leslie on a hugely successful run of SpongeBob the Musical! 🎭🌊

🧽 From the cast to the crew to everyone who helped bring Bikini Bottom to life, this production showcased the talent, commitment, and spirit of our school community. We are so proud of all who made this unforgettable show possible. Bravo! 💛
