Inspired by Athena, the goddess of wisdom, mathematics, and the arts, AthenaHacks was founded to create an open and supportive hackathon for females and non-binary people in tech. Our goal is to give collegiate women, femme, & non-binary students the confidence and skills to achieve their tech-related dreams in a collaborative and positive environment. By redefining what hackathons are, we hope to make the tech world a little less intimidating, a bit more welcoming, and a lot more open.
