As we wrap up the third year of the Fink Finance Alumni Network, we are thrilled to share highlights from our recent gathering in San Francisco! The event featured a dynamic panel discussion with Flavia Araujo Trento ('97), Partner and Portfolio Manager at Evercore Wealth Management, Susan Huang ('05), Director at GI Partners, and Karan Kapoor ('10), Managing Director, Tech Investment Banking, at Cantor Fitzgerald, moderated by Professor Lori Santikian, Director of the Fink Center for Finance.

Last month, we welcomed alumni and students from the Fink Fellowship Program to UCLA Anderson School of Management for an afternoon dedicated to connection, conversation, and community! Our reunion luncheon is an annual staple of the program, bringing together members of this network to exchange insights and strengthen relationships at Anderson and beyond.

The Fink Center was proud to host our seventh annual Conference on Financial Markets, presented in partnership with the Finance area at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. The program brought together leading academics and practitioners to tackle some of the most pressing questions in finance, with a keynote address by Nobel laureate Lars Peter Hansen. Panelists including Luigi Zingales, Campbell Harvey, Jonathan Berk, and Tyler Muir tackled the field's biggest unanswered questions. This year’s conference also included a bold experiment: a dedicated session on "Human × AI Finance," featuring papers written, reviewed, and selected primarily using AI agents.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to such an engaging program, and we look forward to continuing these conversations!

We are excited to share highlights from our third annual Fink Finance Alumni Network gathering in New York!

This year’s event brought together an incredible community of Anderson alumni, students, and industry leaders for an evening of connection and insight.
