This past weekend was exhilarating and exhausting! It is a bittersweet feeling to see the flowering of the seeds you sowed in full bloom and no longer in need of your tending. Congratulations to team Floricanto for an incredible 5 de Mayo Program at the ARC Pasadena. Talk about being in the moment. Many thanks Christie Matsuda-Rios for leading Floricanto into the next generation.

This Sunday at the The Floricanto Center for the Performing Arts. Enjoy an afternoon of crafts and friends while you make garlands for your upcoming graduates, birthdays, Dia de Las Madres, Los Padres and other special occasions! Expert assistance will also be available. Parking available!!

This past Saturday, April 18th Floricanto celebrated El Día Del Niño/a. Que talentos hemos visto! It was also a celebration of all the awesome Performing Arts teachers and supportive parents we are graced with. Felicidades a todos!! And to all the children who participated. Our hearts are filled with inspiration and hope for a brighter future. We can already see it in our children. Participating groups were KIP L.A. Prep, The Angelica Center, The Neighborhood Music School and The Floricanto Institute.

Right around the corner is our annual 5 de Mayo in Pasadena. Remember its an intimate house. Wonderful!! But we sell out every year. So get your tickets now!! Craft activity for those who get there early. See you there.

Our children continue to be our hope and inspiration, all over the world. We at Floricanto continue to teach them, support them, celebrate them. Resistance has many forms. This, we think, is the most effective. Teach all children that they can "Dare to Dream." Come and help us do that! Nos atreveremos a soñar juntos!!
