Our back-lit pallasite Esquel is back on display after it’s time on exhibit at the UCLA Fowler Museum “The Map and the Territory:100 years of collecting at UCLA.”

The specimens were displayed under the thematic title “Beyond” which highlighted how humans have interpreted, imagined, and connected to the universe through objects. Meteorites represent a tangible resource that have provided important information about the origin of the Solar System, the formation of the planets, and the final gasps of dying stars. “The Map and the Territory” debuted during Summer 2021 and recently closed this Fall.
