Here we have a sample of a finished Father’s Day medallion we worked on a while back.

This week’s theme was Observational Drawing.

Students got to choose their objects that they would paint.

All of our students are at different skill levels but they all are well on their way to making a great finished results.

The objects chosen all have different vibes to them and reflect a little of the artist’s personality as well.

Students will be coming up with a background themselves.

Studying what light and shadow do to their objects as well as color will give our student a better understanding of Dimension in their paintings.

One of the objects this student chose hints at another interest she has. Can you guess what it is?

Our Winter Art show was a great success! Here are the students’ work that was on display. We played a game where parents had to pick a number out of a hat and then talk about the Artwork of their number without knowing who did the piece.
