Los Angeles, CA – The Occidental men's soccer team hosted the University of Redlands for the 2023 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Championship game tonight and walked away as the 2023 SCIAC Champions for the first time ever in program history!

The Occidental College Board of Trustees has elected seven new members and recognized the valued service of two members who have stepped down from the board. An eighth member automatically joined the board upon being elected president of Occidental's Alumni Board of Governors.

Activities include remarks from Oxy trustee Jennifer Townsend Crosthwaite ('84). Charlie Cardillo, from Oxy’s Office of Institutional Advancement, will be on hand to answer questions. A little less serious? A mixologist will teach us some tricks of the current cocktail trade—and judge recipes for cocktails you send us in advance! Yes, there’ll be a prize!

Our class owes a big debt of gratitude to Rick Towner for his many years of service as our class secretary - he has kept us engaged with a sense of humor and wry commentary. And mostly, he's persevered to get us to share what's new in our lives so even thirty years after we all met, we have been able to keep up with one another's lives. Thank you Rick!

So we move from Rick to Rich as Rich Miller takes on this task of keeping track of our wandering and eclectic class!
