Today, the Notre Dame Academy community gathered for one of our most time-honored traditions: Mary’s Day. 🩵During our final Mass of the 2025–2026 school year, the 2026 Archdiocesan Christian Service Award recipient had the special honor of 👑crowning Mary, continuing a beautiful NDA tradition rooted in faith, service, and devotion. 🙏
In his homily, Msgr. Jim Forsen reminded our community of the courage and trust it took for Mary to say “yes” to God, encouraging all of us to live with that same openness, faith, and willingness to serve others. Deacon Dick Williams concelebrated the Mass, and our Campus Ministry team did a wonderful job preparing such a meaningful and prayerful liturgy for the community. ✝️
Following Mass, students celebrated the close of the school year with yearbook signing, laughter with friends, and a fun surprise activity that brought joyful energy to campus as we prepare for graduation and summer ahead.🫶🏻✨
A beautiful day of faith, friendship, tradition, and celebration at NDA.

This year, she earned Soccer Team MVP and All-Angelus League First-Team honors.
Lidia will study Sociology & Kinesiology and play ⚽️soccer for Santa Monica College.
Sophia is known for her energy, jumping celebrations, and her kind way of lifting her teammates up. As the libero, Sophia kept countless balls alive and made numerous momentum-changing digs. This year, she earned the Regal Legacy Award for both NDA Volleyball and Beach Volleyball. She was named the Mission League Beach Volleyball MVP and to the All-Mission League First Team (BVB).

🎓🫶🏻Today we celebrate another inspiring group of NDA seniors as they prepare for their next chapter at University of California, Santa Cruz, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Case Western Reserve University, University of California, Davis, California State University, Long Beach, El Camino College, Seattle University, Trinity College, and Columbia University. ❤️
From Mock Trial and rocketry to volleyball, leadership, and club renewal efforts, these seniors reflected on the experiences that helped shape who they are today. Many shared how NDA gave them the confidence to find their voice, discover meaningful friendships, and become part of a community rooted in women supporting and advocating for one another.
Their advice to younger students: enjoy high school, attend the events, try new things, and lean into the opportunities around you. The friendships, support system, and memories you build along the way become some of the most meaningful parts of the NDA experience.
We are so proud of these Regals and excited to see all they accomplish next. ✨

🎓Today we celebrate another incredible group of NDA senior commits as they prepare for their next chapter at University of Notre Dame, University of California, Los Angeles, University of California, Davis, Brown University, University of California, San Diego, California State University, Long Beach, Colgate University, and Gonzaga University. ❤️
From Academic Decathlon and volleyball to the drama program, leadership opportunities, internships, and lifelong friendships, these seniors reflected on the experiences that shaped them most during their time at NDA. Many shared that the support of their teachers made all the difference, whether through mentorship, networking opportunities, encouragement, or simply believing in them when they needed it most.
Their advice to the future Class of 2030:
Join clubs. Get involved. Connect with people. Don’t be afraid to fail, because failure is often where the biggest growth happens. Grades matter, but they do not define who you are. And sometimes the problems that feel huge right now become much smaller with time, perspective, and support.
We are so proud of these Regals and cannot wait to see where their journeys lead next. ✨
