Last day of finals! Mazal tov to our entire student body on all they have accomplished this year! Wishing much hatzlacha to everyone as we close off the 5786 school year!! To celebrate the end of finals and an incredible year, students enjoyed a well-deserved ice cream truck after finals!

Senior Celebration! Our Seniors and their parents gathered tonight in the Samson Center to recognize their achievements over the past four years in everything from academic achievements and chessed to sports and club participation. Thank you to Mrs. Gorman, Mrs. Zeharya, and the Administration for organizing this inspiring event! The Class of 2026 will be missed, but in just a few days they join our proud alumni network!

This morning, our juniors joined Rabbi Sufrin and Admin for a special round table discussion. Students had the opportunity to share ideas, reflect, and help brainstorm ways to make their upcoming senior year an incredible experience!

This morning, we held our annual STUCO elections! We have an incredible team of student leaders lined up for next year, and we’re excited to see how they will add their unique touch to YULA!

Mazal Tov to the recipients of our Freshman Character Development Awards! These exceptional freshmen were nominated by their Rebbeim and teachers in recognition of the outstanding character, middot, and personal growth they have demonstrated throughout their first year of high school! We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and look forward to watching them continue to grow, lead, and inspire in the years ahead!

Our seniors just returned from an unforgettable trip to Phoenix, Arizona, capping off their high school experience with a bang! The week was packed with Game Show Battle Rooms, an MLB matchup between the Arizona Diamondbacks and our Los Angeles Dodgers, an Aqua Park, Castles N’ Coasters, tubing, mini golf, arcades, go-karts, bumper cars, and bumper boats!!Students also competed in our second annual Beast Games, with Mazel Tov to champion Elchanan Andron ‘26! Beyond the excitement and adventure, the trip gave our soon-to-be graduates an opportunity to celebrate the friendships, growth, and memories they have built along the way. On the final night, each senior shared reflections and memories from his four years at YULA, bringing a meaningful close to an incredible journey and chapter of their lives!

The Countdown to Graduation continues with Judah, Moshe, and Gabriel! We miss our Seniors on campus and can’t wait to celebrate them on 6/11!

Rabbi Maslow’s Gemara Shiur is gearing up for next week’s final bechina by doing chazarah on Mesechet Kiddushin, including the Gemara’s discussion of ‘mitzvah bo yoter mib’shelucho’ and whether it is preferable to perform a mitzvah oneself or through a shaliach!
