This summer, Dr. Juan Pinto is participating in an international exchange program with NASA, CNES, and ESA, collaborating with scientists, engineers, and educators from around the world.
We're incredibly proud to see one of our own representing BCLHS while continuing to expand opportunities for our students through global STEM partnerships.
We'll be sharing updates throughout the summer, so be sure to follow along as Dr. Pinto explores, learns, and brings us behind the scenes of this exciting international experience.

What an incredible evening under the stars. β¨π
Thank you to Andrew and Ben from the Los Angeles Astronomical Society (LAAS) for joining us for our first Conaty Connections Star Party, setting up the telescopes, and sharing their knowledge and passion for astronomy with our students, families, alumni, faculty, and community members.
We would also like to thank Dr. Pinto, who leads our Space Academy, for being on site throughout the evening and sharing his knowledge with guests about the celestial objects visible in the night sky.
Guests had the opportunity to observe breathtaking celestial objects while learning more about astronomy from passionate and knowledgeable presenters who made the evening both educational and inspiring.
A special thank you as well for providing these amazing photos captured during the event. π
