Our 4th graders had a blast hosting family members for our 3rd Annual 4th Grade Wax Museum yesterday. Our IB Learners researched a notable figure from US History that they identified from our options of school library books, wrote a book report, and then made their subjects come to life for our live Wax Museum event. This year individuals such as Galileo, Ruth Asawa, and Ernest Shackleton made an appearance!

Please scroll through to see our 2 sweet students who won “Plant Manager of the Day” at our Spring Auction!!! Each boy got a special Plant Manager badge, and carried a walkie talkie. They worked with Raul and Josue to raise the flag in the morning, open up classrooms, refill the paper towel holders, blow and sweep up trash and leaves, and they got to eat lunch with Raul!
The boys were very happy to work around the school in the morning and at recess!

Rm 26’s amazing Teacher for the Day—Ms. Rose! It was a fun-filled hedgehog themed day. She planned a great math problem for the class to solve, led a creative and kinesthetic clay craft activity, and ran her students tired in a relay game of balancing hedgehog fun! Topping it off, students munched on a special sprinkle donut treat for snack! Rose, you made Rm 26’s day!

A huge congratulations to our 5th grade students, who participated in our annual Exhibition event on Thursday evening! This milestone in the IB Primary Years Programme allowed our students to showcase their learning and the actions they are taking to improve the world around them. From environmental advocacy to promoting kindness and equity, their projects were inspiring examples of what young learners can achieve when they think globally and act locally. We are so proud of them!
