Dear Trojans, this weekend let us set aside time to manage our screen times! A healthy distance from the screen and reducing screen time is essential for our mental wellbeing. So are you ready to take up the challenge?

Dear Trojans, we want to appreciate our MFTTs! They have worked with and for all of you since last year to provide in depth academic coaching. Many students across USC campus have been able to excel in their academic journey by working on skills such as time management, stress management, study skills and much more!

Participation in the study is voluntary, and all focus group participants will receive a free USC KCLC T‑shirt.
Bonus: Sign up with a friend from your major and you and your friend will both be entered to win a KCLC sweatshirt!

Dear Trojans, with the midterm season in full swing, let us rethink how to maintain our focus, energy, and wellbeing. Snacking is a big part of all our lives and for this chapter of between the books we ask you to “rethink your snacks”. Can you replace one unhealthy snack with a healthier option? Give it a try for next week and share results with us.

Dear Trojans,
The long weekend is here, and we’re sure many of you have exciting plans ahead! As you enjoy your time off, remember that this is also an opportunity to pause, reflect, and recharge. This week, we invite you to participate in our Between the Books series by taking a creative break. You might draw, paint, work on a puzzle, build with Legos, journal, crochet— the possibilities are endless! Follow the prompt on the screen or choose your own creative outlet, and share your experience with us in the comments.

Journaling helps you slow down, notice your feelings, and give your thoughts a safe space to land. ✍️💛
Try taking just 5 minutes today!
Remember: start where you are — even a few sentences count.

At the KCLC we understand that life between classes, assignments, and deadlines can get overwhelming. We want to share easy and quick self care and stress management tips with our fellow Trojans to follow during weekends and recharge for the next week. If you participate in this series please drop a comment to share your experience.
We will share our first tip later today! Follow along and become a part of this movement.
