How to Teach Your Child to Follow Directions
Children tend to pay less attention to instructions, especially when they have other things or activities in mind. But luckily, there is a way you can teach your child to pay closer attention to instructions. That is, after you’ve given directions, ask your child to repeat everything you said before taking action.
This will give them time to process what you just said and allow them to do a better job at their task.
