About the Hult Prize@

The Hult Prize@ Program is the quarterfinal round of the annual USD1M Hult Prize
Challenge, bringing the competition directly to college campuses around the world. The local competition gives the university’s winning team the chance to bypass the general
application round and fast-track into one of the five regional finals: Boston, San Francisco,
London, Shanghai, or Dubai.

Hello UCLA! It is with great pleasure to announce that the Hult Prize will be returning to our campus this year! President Clinton and the UN challenged the world to come up with a solution using energy to positively influence the lives of 10 million people. The winner of our campus competition will be secured a spot in the regional finals, bringing them one step closer to winning $1 million to change the world with their social enterprise that harnesses the power of energy.

For those who do not know, The Hult Prize is a start-up accelerator for impact entrepreneurship which brings together the brightest college and university students from around the globe to solve the world’s most pressing issues through pitching ideas and launching companies. It’s the biggest and most prestigious start-up event in the world, named the "Nobel Prize" of business, and awards millions of dollars in investment capital to young budding entrepreneurs, including a grand prize of USD1Million.

UCLA's campus competition will take place on December 1st. You can get ready to compete in a few easy steps:
