Happy Maxim Monday! 🌿
This week’s maxim is Maxim 42: “Be patient in your longing for God’s great love.”
This maxim reminds us that we don’t have to have everything figured out right away. God’s love meets us slowly, gently, and often when we least expect it. Patience allows our hearts to stay open to the grace that is already unfolding in our lives. 💜

This week’s maxim is Maxim 1: “Your call is sublime—become what God dreams for you.”
Alex De Siqueira, Coordinator for Campus Ministry and Spirituality, reflects on this maxim as a reminder that each of us is called to grow into the fullness of who God created us to be. When we listen with openness and trust, we discover that our lives are shaped by purpose, love, and possibility. 💜

Happy Maxim Monday! 🌿
This week’s maxim is Maxim 89: “Do the ordinary good with extraordinary care.”
Lauren, a second year nursing student, reminds us that the little things matter—how we speak, how we serve, and how we show up for others. When we approach everyday moments with intention and care, even the simplest actions can make a meaningful difference. 💜

Happy Maxim Monday! This week’s maxim is Maxim 35: “God sees, knows and loves you intimately; live and act from that alone.” 🌿
Today’s maxim reminds us that we are held in a love deeper than anything the world can offer. God knows our hearts, our hopes, and our struggles and loves us completely through it all.
When we choose to live from that place of love, we become gentler with ourselves, kinder to others, and more grounded in who we are called to be. May this truth guide your week with peace and confidence. 💜

Happy Maxim Monday!
This week’s maxim is Maxim 37: “Do the best that you can and then let it go.”🌿
Sarah Nichols, Assistant Director for Student Life Communication, invites us to reflect on this maxim as a call to release perfectionism and trust that our efforts, offered with sincerity and love, are enough.
Today’s maxim reminds us to show up fully, do our best, and then find peace in letting go. 💜

🍁🍂Harvest of Hearts Celebration 🍂🍁
Last Thursday, the CSJ Institute sponsored an autumn social for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet at the St. John of God Retirement & Care Center. Students from MSMU enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of sharing stories, laughter, and moments of gratitude with our CSJs.
As co-hosts of the event, members of Kappa Delta Chi engaged with our Sisters as they created Thanksgiving and Christmas cards for those they love, spreading joy, connection, and the CSJ charism of love for the dear neighbor.
Thank you to all of the students and CSJs who attended for making this gathering so meaningful. This celebration was truly a moment of bonding—getting to know one another, honoring the Sisters’ legacy, and appreciating the wisdom they shared. 🧡
Happy Maxim Monday!
This week’s maxim is Maxim 23: “Love nothing but God and all that God loves.” 🌿
This maxim calls us to center our hearts on what truly matters: God’s love and the love we share with others. It reminds us to see the goodness in every person, to act with compassion, and to let our choices reflect a deeper, more generous love.
May this be an invitation to move through the week with kindness, gratitude, and a heart open to all that God loves. 💜
The CSJ Institute is honored to co-sponsor with the Center for Inclusive Excellence the REDress Project, an installation in remembrance of missing and murdered Indigenous women. ⚘
Members of the Mount community, along with some of our local CSJs, attended the opening ceremony, which included a land acknowledgement, prayers, artwork, and a Native American healing dance.❣
Welcome back to Maxim Monday!
This week’s maxim is Maxim 13: “Risk everything for God’s dream.” 🌿
Mia, a second-year student at the Mount, reflects on this maxim as a reminder to trust boldly in God’s plan and to step outside of our comfort zones in faith.
It calls us to live courageously—letting go of fear and daring to follow where God’s dream leads. 💜
