Ask the Sexologist Let's talk about s*xuality, dating, relationships, biology, safe s*x and those things that you do - or can't believe others do. in human s*xuality.

I've been studying the scientific, psychological, social and other aspects of human s*xuality since 1972 when I began reading Medical Aspects of Human S*xuality. I've been attending academic conferences on human s*xuality, reproductive biology, and the psychology of s*xuality for since around 2000, all over the world, and I have a Ph.D. I've given about 400 lectures around the world on a variety of technical and professional level topics, but in the last 15 years I have focused on the broad topic of human s*xuality. The presentations are called Ask the S*xologist---and they are open forum, question and answer, with the audience asking what THEY want to know, and I (and sometimes with qualified co-presenters) give the answers, dispel myths, give permission, and bring the audiences up to date on the current scientific views of s*xologists and s*x researchers. I'm a member of the American Association of S*x Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) as well as the Society for the Scientific Study of S*xuality (SSSS). I've attended many of their conferences over the years, as well as those of many other professional, academic scientific, medical and/or psychological s*x research organizations. As an undergraduate I wanted to create the perfect non-hormonal reversible contraceptive--and I did come up with an idea for such a molecule. I studied hormones and behavior from Dr. Frank Beach at UC Berkeley, the man who created the field, and took graduate courses on reproductive biology as well. I also continue to take courses on neurobiology and human behavior, and of course read articles and journals (from AASECT and SSSS) on human s*xuality.
