**This webinar REQUIRES an RSVP.**

There are so many stories I've encountered regarding from multiple Latinx communities, including my own experiences, through oral and mainstream programs, Deaf schools, hearing universities, and even Deaf programs at universities or even a Deaf university. There are numerous discussions that aim to transform education, which I fully agree with, but this cannot be changed without the community's involvement. I initially wasn't sure myself of how to participate in collaborative efforts, but through conversations with Janette and Jojo, I’ve learned a lot. They have agreed to elevate their personal and professional experiences by bringing Latinx families to the next level of , which DeafDisabled, DeafBlind, and Deaf children deserve. They will also share strategies on how community involvement can also make an impact upon Latinx students in the quality of their education, including cultural self-advocacy. This session is ‪on Saturday, August 22 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. PST‬. Please submit your RSVP to [email protected] by August 20 and accommodations by ‪August 17. Once I receive your RSVP, I will send you further details such as the link. As always, thank you for your support in sharing this invitation with your circles. A BIG thank you to (Interpret That) for sponsoring this webinar! A big thank-you also goes to organizations for their collaboration: , , and !
