2026 LA FOOD BANK EVENT
Saturday - MAY 16
8:30 AM - 12:00 PM (Start time 9 AM)
Northwestern had the highest number of volunteers last year!
We will be volunteering again at the LA Regional Food Bank sorting groceries for their various programs for low income seniors, women with infants, and children in Los Angeles County. By giving just a little of our time, we can make a big difference in our community. Parking is available on site & nearby but we highly recommend carpooling as space is limited. Optional lunch afterwards.
Be sure to wear your school colors!

Due to high demand we are doing this tour again on April 11 at 11 AM
Join Northwestern alums for an afternoon at the Getty Museum. Beth Morrison ’90 will give a tour of her new exhibition, Beginnings: The Story of Creation in the Middle Ages, which examines at how imagining the world’s origins leads to a shared cultural vision of identity and values.

Beth specializes in medieval European manuscripts, but this exhibition also includes contemporary paintings by LA-based artist Harmonia Rosales. Together, the works explore how the Creation was visualized, represented, and interpreted both in the Middle Ages and today. After the tour, wander the Getty’s other galleries and grounds, or have a drink at the Getty’s Trellis Bar and enjoy the sunset.
