Supernova Design Inc is an Animation and Design studio based in Los Angeles & Copenhagen. Welcome to Supernova Design !

We are a small but powerful Motion and Design Collective that strongly believes in having agency over our lives and our work. We like to surround ourselves with those that make their own mark on this world, not for the sake of being different but because they choose to be honest about who they are and what they want. We believe that fear has its place in the world but we try to not let it deter us

This past weekend we had an amazing time attending LAAPFF Presents: Hong Kong Generations of Cinema. A big thank you to the folks for inviting us to create the key artwork. We loved being able to celebrate the impact and legacy of Cantopop in Hong Kong Cinema with this artwork!

Congratulations to on a fantastic reception and screening. Shoutout to all the awesome humans that helped bring the 3rd edition of this event to the audience. It’s always lovely to spend time with our friends from this community 🎬✨

Here’s another addition to the series of in-app illustrations that we designed for Google Pay. This one features diverse regional cuisines from across India. Each building level takes inspiration from different locales, presenting a culinary journey from mouthwatering street food to intricate main courses and tempting desserts. It was nearly impossible to develop this piece without constant snacking :D

Our team created in-app illustrations for Google Pay, that showcased iconic scenes from Indian cinema and explored how films bring us together. For each floor of the building, we took inspiration from memorable moments in the movies and interpreted them in our minimal graphic style to develop the final artwork.

We’re back with our fun Ceramics Pop-Up at the West LA Farmers Market tomorrow! As requested, we now have cute candle holders to add to our product lineup 🕯️ Free parking can be found in the Purdue lot near the post office. Can’t wait to see you!

Supernova Design Inc. Is a Los Angeles based Boutique Design Studio that helps innovative brands and businesses tell their unique stories in playful and creative ways. Founded by sisters Asavari and Shaivalini Kumar, Supernova employs a multidisciplinary approach to branding that draws upon their collective expertise in communication design and animation direction (…and all things cat.)
