Hi everyone! So I wanted to give a little background on my fitness journey — I grew up with postural issues, but loved yoga, sports, dance and water activities.
While pursuing a BA in Music Theatre, I fell and injured my ankle. I spent the next few years in and out of physical therapy. Then in 2014, I was in a car accident that left me with whiplash, two pinched nerves in the base of my spine and a twisted pelvis. Physical therapy and Chiropractic sessions helped but I still found myself with chronic pain.
In 2016 I started working at 5th Ave Fitness (personal training studio in Brooklyn) as the marketing manager! After training with the owner (Travis), taking the group classes and attending their continuing education seminars I was inspired to get certified.
In 2020 I got my NASM certification and then started training at 5th Ave in 2021. I recently moved to LA and I am now offering virtual sessions as I get settled here. I will eventually be offering in person sessions and group classes!
I am currently studying a Fat Loss specialization and a Metabolic Makeover course with plans to move into Corrective Exercise. I have previously taken workshops in pre-natal/postpartum training, Programming, Hypertrophy, Kettlebells, Calisthenics and more.
I love working with clients and helping them achieve their goals: whether it’s to move more, get stronger, correct postural imbalances, or lose inches, I’m here for you!
