Yes, it's that time of year again when the zooarchaeology students begin to prepare their vertebrate skeletal specimens to be included in the comparative osteology collection!

Great news! Thanks to Don Buth (UCLA EEB Dept.) the UCLA CIOA Zooarchaeology Lab recently acquired 2413 fish skeletal specimens from the UCLA EEB Department! The addition of these specimens brings the UCLA-CIOA-ZL comparative osteological collection to a grand total of 4956 specimens.
