The goal is to make standard the practices reflective of a shared belief that we're all "stronger together." The role of fine arts in education continues to be undermined. Visual and performing arts are essential components of an enriching, culturally sensitive and comprehensive education. We aspire to supplement the education system with the creative tools necessary to provide each student with a highly effective education. Art education specialists, teaching artists and other talented artists are displaced by a system that has yet to value their important role. We aspire to hire these fine artists back, train new artists to become teaching artists, and ensure that all are properly recognized and utilized as contributors to our cultural progression. Essentially - visual and performing artists of all kinds, supporting the arts in public schools, while the arts in public schools support the artists - and in the process, uplifting all involved and co-creating enriched communities.
