Meet Tiffany Yarian, PharmD ’26, whose experience at reflects the many unique opportunities USC and Los Angeles offer to students interested in pharmaceutical industry careers.

During her time at USC Mann, Tiffany interned for three years at COEUS, conducted ophthalmic drug discovery research, and led industry networking initiatives — building experience and connections that helped her reach her next step: the two-year Chapman-Amgen Oncology Medical Affairs Fellowship, beginning this June.

Fourth-year PharmD students Mayra Fuentes-Pineda and Siara Magee recently completed their international Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotation in Tokyo, Japan, an experience Mayra describes as “life-changing.”

“We had the opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in the culture,” she says. “We shared ideas, experiences, laughs, and connected through our mutual interest in moving the profession of pharmacy forward."
