Meet our Top-Notch Trojan, Wendy Pedersen!
I have been with the University of Southern California for 38 years. I currently serve as a Senior Analyst, Budget Management, supporting the USC Provost Finance Office and USC Shoah Foundation. My role focuses on financial management across the full grant lifecycle, including pre-award budgeting, post-award financial oversight, reporting, and compliance. What I enjoy most about my work is supporting meaningful, mission-driven programs, collaborating with dedicated colleagues, and bringing clarity and organization to complex financial processes.
Additionally, I love working at USC because it has given so much to me over the years. Throughout my service, it has provided incredible opportunities for job growth and educational development, meaningful experiences with the community –– both here and abroad –– and the ability to be part of all USC has to offer. From my colon cancer and chemotherapy to my husband’s surgeries and my brother’s cancer, the care and support from Norris exemplify how USC has also walked alongside my family and me during difficult times.
So much of my career has been supported and lifted up by the incredible colleagues I’ve worked with across USC. I am truly grateful to be part of this community.
