LMU’s Acting for the Camera program gives high school students the chance to learn from experienced faculty who are professional actors. Over the course of the program, students will explore techniques for film, television, and web series while building confidence and creativity.

Each day includes:
• Morning sessions with college-level lectures and live performance activities
• Afternoon coaching, rehearsals, and collaborative shoots

Students will film silent scenes, monologues, and partner scenes, and even participate in the editing process to understand how performance translates to the final product. At the end of the program, they’ll receive all of their completed scene work.

This is an incredible opportunity for students to experience college-level training, make connections, and develop skills that will serve them for years to come.
