Join us on Thursday, November 4 at 4:00 pm PST (7:00 pm EST) for a collaboration between UCR SOE’s K-12 Ethnic Studies Speaker Series and the Institute for Teachers of Color.
Learn from the Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) Ethnic Studies Steering Committee, as they share how Ethnic Studies has grown through teacher and community organizing across their district. In this talk, seven teachers will highlight their organizing, examples of curriculum they use in their own Ethnic Studies classrooms, and share how they work with their community to expand the power of Ethnic Studies.
