Aly had so much fun on this conversation!

You can check out the SAG-AFTRA Podcast for the inside scoop from casting director Alyson Horn on how commercial casting really works, why the skills that book commercials aren’t always the same ones that land film and TV roles, and the most common misconceptions about commercial work that actors bring into the audition room.
Tell us what you think!

“I wanted to let you know how incredibly pleased I was with the Bilingual Commercial class I took with Joshua. It was stellar!! I have been away from acting for over 25 years. His class was incredibly informative and his personal magnetism was infectious. I felt that ALL the students loved him and the class. I HIGHLY recommend the class.”

“This bilingual commercial class with Josh truly changed my life! I feel like there’s now a Before and After with commercials. It opened my eyes to a whole new world. Learning to analyze scripts, make strong choices, and most importantly, to lose the fear of making mistakes and just be myself in auditions.
Josh has such a huge heart and he pours so much knowledge and care into what he shares with us. This has been one of the best experiences of my year, and I hope to take another class with him in the future. If you get the chance to train with Josh, consider yourself very lucky. It’s truly life-changing.

Gracias por todo Josh, eres el mejor!”

“I learned such important details of the commercial process in the Bilingual class with the wonderful Joshua Rodriguez which I immediately applied to my auditions. It has always been my belief that an actor is never done learning, never done improving. At 78, I knew I could learn new & revisit new concepts from Joshua as he, not only is an actor himself, but a casting professional who has seen it all & shares with his class the do’s and dont’s of this very competitive field in a fun, easy-going, no pressure bilingual class. I highly recommend it and I hope it continues to benefit our latino community of actors, young and not so young!”
