If you would like to become a member of HDA (benefits listed on their website), you can join HDA for an additional $15 (paid to us). As a reminder, UCLA HSDA membership is required to attend our socials and participate in our mentorship program.

Thanks to everyone who made it to HSDA's first social event!

In case you missed it: HSDA/SNDA joint community service event NEXT SATURDAY Nov. 14th @ Crenshaw High School (details/sign-ups below)

The UCLA Chapters of the HSDA and SNDA would like to invite you to join us as we participate in the Making Healthcare Work for You: Community Resource Fair. This health fair is geared toward providing various health resources to over 300 community attendees of the greater Los Angeles area. We will be providing oral health screenings, conducting tactile/visual exams and distributing printed information on oral cancer and local dental clinics. All students in attendance will be provided with the opportunity to strengthen their clinical skills, gain experience working with under-served populations and recruit your own patients for the UCLA Dental Clinic.

Where: Crenshaw High School
5010 11th Ave., L.A. 90043
Parking: Enter on 50th Street just East of 11th Ave.
When: Saturday, November 14th, 8am-2:30pm
Attire: Scrubs (Please bring loupes and charged loupe lights).
*You are more than welcome to bring your business cards!

Don't forget! This Sunday, October 25th, UCLA HSDA will be holding the first community service event of the year at the Immaculate Conception School in downtown LA. We will be delivering a PowerPoint presentation on proper oral hygiene technique, as well as doing one-on-one OHI demos and handing out oral hygiene aids at a table.
