Meet our CCCP Peer Advisor, Kristi!

Kristi transferred from Long Beach City College and is majoring in Sociology.

She is involved with UCLA CCCP as an LBCC Peer Advisor and serves as PTSP Vice Chairperson. Kristi is also part of SPEAR as a Service Recipient/Mentee and SPACE Intern.

The application deadlines for our CCCP Scholars Program Summer Experiences has been extended to Friday, June 12, 2026!

📚 Power to the Transfer Webinars (P2TT-W): Online synchronous experience

To be considered, you must complete and submit Steps 1–3 by Friday, June 12, 2026. Submissions are time-stamped.

Once your checklist is verified, you’ll receive an email with access to Step 4 and an updated deadline to finish your application. Please note that review times may be longer than usual due to a high volume of applications.

Don’t wait till the last minute. Submit Steps 1–3 ASAP so you’re in line for review ✔️

This AANHPI Heritage Month, we celebrate Randall Kekoa Akee 💛

Native Hawaiian economist, public policy professor, and former UCLA American Indian Studies chair, he continues to advance conversations around inequality, Indigenous economic development, and public policy through his research and leadership. Now a professor at Harvard Kennedy School, his work uplifts Native Hawaiian and Indigenous communities across higher education and policy spaces.

Recently named dean of , the award-winning filmmaker, scholar, and UCLA alumna became the first Filipina American to lead the school. Her work expands representation in film, media, and higher education!
