Understanding these challenges can help us move beyond the question of “Why aren’t they doing it?” and toward “What support would help them do it?”⁠

With the right strategies and support, students with ADHD can build the skills they need to thrive—both in and beyond the classroom. 💙

🌱 Learning, Innovation & Community in Action

What an incredible experience at 4Roots during Rally TWO Fall 2026.

As part of our Rally TWO Living Lab experience, we had the opportunity to use the 4Roots space and tour their remarkable facilities—including the systems they have developed to support more sustainable, self-sufficient food production.

Seeing the work firsthand was incredibly impressive. From the intentional design of the space to the way 4Roots connects food, education, sustainability, innovation, and community, it was a powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together to build solutions with purpose.

We are especially grateful to 4Roots for their partnership with Rally and for opening their doors to our cohort. Experiences like this make the Rally TWO process so meaningful—bringing people out of the conference room and into spaces where ideas, challenges, and possibilities can be explored in real life.

At New Agenda, we are honored to be part of the Rally community and grateful for the opportunity to learn, listen, co-create, and build alongside organizations that are working to create meaningful change.

What a great day at the Rally TWO Fall 2026 Cohort Living Lab! 🌱

Today, Maria DelCorso, CCC-SLP, of New Agenda LLC, sat together Central Florida community stakeholders in Orlando to listen, learn, and co-create around an important question:

How can we expand access to Executive Function skill development for students who may not otherwise have access to this type of support?

With guidance from Rally SEA, New Agenda is exploring practical, community-informed ways to bring Executive Function coaching to students facing barriers to access—building skills such as planning, organization, time management, task initiation, follow-through, and self-advocacy.

We are incredibly grateful to the partners who shared their time, expertise, and perspectives during today’s Co-Creation Lab:

These aren’t just academic skills—they’re life skills that can support students as they move into college, careers, relationships, and independent living.⁠
⁠
Independence doesn’t happen overnight when a student graduates. It’s built through years of practicing self-management and executive-function skills.⁠
⁠
That’s the vision behind New Agenda’s school-based Executive Function initiative: combining EF curriculum, direct virtual coaching, school-based implementation, and measurable outcomes to help students build skills that extend far beyond the classroom.⁠
⁠
Because the ultimate goal isn’t simply better grades.⁠
⁠
It’s greater independence. 💙

Economic hardship can bring added stress, instability, limited resources, and competing demands that may make both academic success and executive-function development more difficult.⁠
⁠
This isn’t about defining students by their circumstances. It’s about understanding the barriers they may be navigating.⁠
⁠
And if the environment can influence executive-function development, could explicitly teaching EF skills help reduce some of those barriers?⁠
⁠
It’s an important question for educators, families, and anyone supporting students.
