On Saturday, we hosted our annual Paddy Murphy formal with . The brothers had a great time and are looking forward to the last weeks of the semester. Phi Alpha!

This afternoon, some of our chapter leaders had the opportunity to meet President Stritikus at his home for dinner. We had a great discussion, including how we can work to promote Greek life on campus to improve our Oxy community. Thank you for meeting with us!

Rush Week officially starts today! With this week being all about meeting the brothers of SAΕ, we figured we’d highlight Spencer “REDACTED” Russell in this edition of BROTHER OF THE WEEK.

Hailing from the Big Apple, Spence is a senior History major with a specialization in Ball Knowledge. He currently serves as Eminent Warden, an appropriate title for the man who knows the SAE House perhaps better than anyone. Legend has it, he once went two full weeks without exiting the house, surviving only on the tears of those vanquished in 2k.

Regarding his academic pursuits, Spence has been on an absolute heater, having recently completed his Comps presentation (which reportedly earned a raucous standing ovation). Outside of school, Spence’s interests include: comedy shows, midrange jumpers, hitting the dougie, and being better than Chan.

Spence’s reaction to his nomination for BOTW? “I’m just here so I don’t get fined”. Well done, Brother Russell, well done. ΦΑ

The FSL bbq is this Saturday at 4 PM! Come out to meet the Oxy Greek community. We will have games, food, and drinks. Anyone interested in joining greek life is welcome. See you on Saturday!
