Sister Mary Stephen Sartoris ’43 was an educator since 1947 when she began her first assignment as a second grade teacher at St. Ignatius School, Los Angeles. She was a Kindergarten Teacher Aide for Sacred Heart Elementary three days a week. Her firm and consistent dedication to help each child succeed spanned over 70 years. Sister Mary Stephen will forever be in our hearts! 🕊

Our Sports Program is hosting Sacred Heart's first Movie Night of the school year - Tomorrow, October 28th. Doors will open at 6pm. We hope many will be able to attend this fun event.

It has been a long time since we had our fury friends on campus. Yesterday, Father Tes blessed many of our pets and we had an opportunity to meet some of fury family members. It was a beautiful way to celebrate as a Sacred Heart family!

We are so excited to have the Blessing of the Animals on campus once again. All are invited, animals large and small are welcome. Please be sure they are leashed or in carriers. Pets who do not travel well or who do not get along with others can have their humans bring a photo of them.
Donations of animal supplies will be greatly appreciated such as toys, leashes, collars, treats, unopened food, and old blankets/ towels. A box will be set up in the school office starting
Sept 27th- Oct 4th to receive donations.
