Missing all of our DCMA family! Fingers crossed we’ll be doing ensemble soon
Hello DCMA friends! Hope everyone is staying safe during this crazy time. The Dave Curtis Music Academy wanted to take the time to reach out to all our friends and family to wish you all the best during this trying time. With so many students currently at home with not much to do, I personally wanted to offer everybody a few ways to do some extra music studying at no charge, as a way for me to personally give back. DCMA is offering two free private Zoom lessons to all alumni. (If you've ever taken lessons from Dave at any time, but are not currently studying with him) You can call and schedule your two free Zoom lessons. In addition, we are now offering free group practices for all current students. We are also now offering free music theory tutoring to all new students who are currently music majors in high school or college. Please spread the word to anybody who may qualify. If you have any questions, want to schedule your lessons or to get the group practice schedule, get in touch with Dave! Call the studio landline at 818-895-6914, text Dave at 818-689-9994 or email Dave directly at [email protected]. Thank you all for your ongoing love and support of the Dave Curtis Music Academy. If there's any way DCMA can help you with your music goals, please let us know. Stay safe, stay home, and practice 'till your fingers bleed!

Hello DCMA friends and family!
This Friday, February 8th, 2019, from 7:00-10:00pm, we will be hosting the wrap party for our students from last semester's ensemble as well as orientation for our next ensemble which starts next Friday, February 15th.
Anyone doing ensemble should come. If you are on the fence about ensemble, come anyway! If you know you're not doing ensemble, come anyway! If you're an old student, come on by! If you want to bring friends and family, do so! And if you don't have anything to do Friday, come on over!
Give us a call with any questions and we look forward to seeing you on Friday at 7:00.

See you guys there!

And last but not least, congrats and thank you to our teacher, and mentor. We love you and thank you so much for everything you do for us and for this school.

Congrats to our ASS award winners. We couldn't get a good picture because Tucker took his award a little too serious and everyone either ran away screaming or were shielding their eyes. But congrats anyway to Tucker, Jett, Laura, Shannon, Steven, Aidan, and Kitty!

Congrats to our very own award-winning triangulanist, Greg Reich for not only the best, but the greatest triangle solo in all of dcma history, arguably in all of the world.

Congrats to "the outcasts" for winning the Most improved band award!

Congrats to "Best Meal Of The Day" for winning both the best band name award and also the band that moves the most award!

Don't forget guys, the wrap party is tonight! 7pm!
