Join us live for a preview of the curated Benartex batik bundle and a ruler quilting tool demo. It’s a picture of what’s coming when we stitch and connect in a creative community experience. We’ll wear a fascinator, enjoy mocktails and finger foods, and share recipes while we learn.

I’ve always wanted to make this quilt and it makes me SO happy! Put A Ring On It (using the Glare template for the rings) + Giant Clammys = this 80” x 80” magical goodness. Photos don’t do it justice. I want to roll around in it and snuggle up and stare at it all at the same time.
I made it as a sample for the Giant Clammy Club. This is the club for all my people who want to dust off their Giant Clammys (or for all those who want to finally order them) and FINALLY use them. In May we will sew! Over the course of six months we will make three epic quilts: Giant Clam Toss, a mashup between Glam Clam + Glare (think pickledish clams but REALLY huge) and then this quilt - Put A Ring On It.
Sign ups end on March 16th. I can’t wait. Info in link in bio.
Now, how should I quilt this?

I’ve seen so many of you say that silence is complicity. And while I believe my track record of speaking out over time makes it clear where I stand, I also understand that moments like this call for clarity.
So…. if you’ve been wondering where I stand - this shirt is your answer. :)
It’s one of four limited-edition tees launching at QuiltCon next week (scroll to see the rest).
Not going to QuiltCon? You can still grab one (or two or three). They’re now available for pre-order on my website. Get your order in today—when they’re gone, they’re gone.
Can’t wait to see everyone at QuiltCon! I’ll be hanging out at booth 027 most of the show so stop by.

Ridiculously happy with what’s going on over on the design wall today. Liberty + The HuRTy + Essex Linen is pretty much a magical equation. What do you think?
Can’t wait to show more! What are you working on today?

Look what I found in the flat fold section at M&L! I can’t believe this was from 9/10 years ago. I guess it’s time to design fabric again.

Chasing Cats, 2025
Approximately 47” x 53”
Y’all have heard me say repeatedly that you can cut any shape built on a circle out with The Clammy. I’ve long wanted to figure out how to prove this with the beautiful, classic Apple Core quilt block. I’m here to tell you, it works flawlessly! And easily I must say as well. Yay for the magical Clammy!
I had the opportunity to make a baby quilt for a sweet friend who’s nursery is going to be 101 Dalmatians + Pink. Wanting to work strictly from stash I didn’t have any 101 Dalmatians fabric but due to another project I had a LOT of soft pinks so I pulled a bunch. The hilarious thing is I had a LOT of cats but no dogs. So, I decided to include the cats and call this quilt “Chasing Cats” because that’s what dogs do after all. As a nod to 101 Dalmatians I added a contrasting black and white stripe binding. I followed the curve of the blocks with a little walking foot quilting with a bold-ish 12 WT Aurifil wool thread in a soft pink.
I love making a soft toy to go with a baby quilt so I pulled out my Ikea Britten fabric from WAY back in the day and made a couple soft houses. Each side is made from a panel of piece of quilted pink fabric that can be found in the quilt. Next time I’ll definitely put a piece of foam in the bottom to make them stand up a bit better. But, they’ll still be squishy fun none the less.
I didn’t have time to grab a bunch of glamour shots but I’m happy to have capture a bit of this fun make.
Congrats Mandy and Nick. I’m so ridiculously happy for you! I hope this quilt gets loved to shreds. Yay for Book Club babies! 🥰
