In our baby classes, even the simplest activities are full of meaning.
With the scarf moving above them, babies are watching faces, listening to voices, tracking movement, and feeling the comfort of being close to their grown-up.
Peekaboo, singing, gentle rhythm, and eye contact all help babies feel safe, connected, and ready to explore the world through music.
Come try a Ladybug Music baby class and experience the sweetness of music, movement, and connection together.

There is so much learning happening in moments like these. Exploring the drums, listening to the beat, watching the grownups play, and finding a way to join in are all part of the musical experience.
In this activity, we were exploring a 6/8 rhythm feel, a gentle, flowing beat pattern that children experience through movement, instrument play, and repetition long before they understand musical terms.
At Ladybug Music, music learning often looks like joy, play, movement, and community first… and the learning grows naturally from there. 🥁✨
Ladybug Music has been around for a long time. 💛
This photo was taken 22 years ago, back when I was teaching early childhood music classes with a guitar, a circle of families, and a deep love for music and connection.
Over the years, those little classes slowly grew into Ladybug Music, and somehow the joy of it still feels exactly the same! ❤️❤️❤️
One of the beautiful things about early childhood music classes is that children often begin by watching the grownups around them. 💛
Through repetition, observation, movement, and connection, little ones slowly start to join in at their own pace. In this clip, you can see a child watching the moms and Teachers closely while exploring the movement herself. These small moments are such important foundations for confidence, coordination, listening, and musical participation.
At Ladybug Music, we encourage grownups to sing, move, and participate right alongside their children because connection is part of the learning too.
Try a class and experience the joy together.
When grownups participate alongside children in music class, something special happens.
Children learn through connection, imitation, rhythm, movement, and shared joy. Watching the important adults in their lives sing, clap, dance, and engage helps many children feel more comfortable joining in themselves over time.
At Ladybug Music, our classes are designed for children and grownups to experience music together — creating connection, confidence, community, and joyful memories along the way.

There’s something really special that happens when children come to class regularly.
The songs become familiar. The teachers become trusted. The room starts to feel like their place. And little by little, they begin to relax, participate, connect, and shine.
This sweet moment with Teacher Michelle is such a perfect example of what weekly music class can become: comfort, community, and a joyful little ritual your child looks forward to.
Ladybug Music is not a drop-in program, and that’s intentional. The magic grows with consistency.
