Notes on Tonight’s Reading
Wednesday 7/16/25

Music: Before I pulled a card, I was listening to “I Am Light” by India.Arie and i think it’ll be the first on a new playlist for setting and maintaining some nourishing vibes as i refresh my personal SoulCollage® practices.

Question: I just realized I didn’t ask a question for of this card tonight. Was just open to receiving whatever it had to say.

I Am One Who is calm, doing my thing when there is an explosion around me.

I Am One Who enjoys life, partakes in life amidst the chaos & uncertainty.

I’m being reminded today that I am not alone.

I’m being reminded today that I am not the only one who responds in the ways that I do.

I’m being reminded today of my soulcompanions and my kindred spirits.

this is the hardest Mother’s Days i will ever have after losing my mom a little over two weeks ago. she always supported me in my exploration of SoulCollage, which i still practice with a small group of close friends. since so many parts of me come from so much of my mom, so many cards in my deck speak to my relationship with her. i wanted to pull out a few, to share with my friends the next time we meet, so here is a sample. i will have to write more about these cards significance to me at another time, and hopefully in songs, but for now, i just wanted to put these out there, for her. and maybe, they’ll speak to you in some way… 💙



i love you mom

My wish for you is that you find a circle of friends like my SoulCollage soul sisters - a group where one can feel seen, heard, validated and deeply cared for. I am grateful beyond measure. And, many many thanks to our wise, beautiful and treasured crone who brought us together years ago. The ripple effects have been profound.

I haven’t shared much relating to SoulCollage lately, in fact, I see it’s been about a year. So, it’s fitting that I did this reading today with our group and felt nudged by something to share it with you.

“I am the one who is a fighter. I am the one who needs play. I am the one needs to hunt for what nourishes me. I am the one facing life. I've come to remind you to turn from things that are not meant for you and to turn towards things that nourish you and strengthen you. I'm here to remind you that fighting and playing and hunting is all natural and necessary. I'm here to remind you to be the Mama Bear to your own spiritual journey, and I'm here to remind you of the magnificence in nature, the natural world.”

I am the One Who feels peace in the water
I am the One Who finds balance and joy there
I am the One Who longs for the warmth of the sun on my face and my shoulders
I am the One Who longs to float again

I've come to remind you that there are gifts all around you and that you're worthy of receiving them
I'm come to remind you that you're worthy

Hey there SoulCollage©-ers and friends! Although I haven't led workshops in some time, I have continued practicing it privately and with friends from time to time. Momentarily I'll be sharing the card I drew today and the words that came. I hope you are all doing well in the midst of all that is going on in the world. Would love to stay engaged with SoulCollage©, and with you. (And, though I'm not currently offering public workshops, I am available to facilitate workshops (on any part of the SoulCollage© process) for private groups).

Six years ago I became a SoulCollage® Facilitator and facilitated workshops for public and private groups. I've been on a hiatus from hosting public workshops for some time, but still practice the process personally. I am still open to facilitating for private groups or individuals. A Poignant Note from Seena B. Frost

Seena wrote to us on January 9:

"I am now starting on my final chapter of life. The doctors don't know for sure how much time I have, but we have contacted Hospice and leave it to God and the Great Spirit to call me home."

Seena recently received a diagnosis of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and is under hospice care at home with her family in attendance.

Seena has given us all an incredible gift. So many people have found their authentic voices, learned to guide their own lives and have become empowered to contribute confidently what it is they were born to give to Life.
