Golf Day is coming up this Thursday, November 6!
Our parent volunteers are setting up a fun mini golf course right at Discovery School. Each class will head outside to play, learn, and cheer for their friends.
Today we celebrated Dia de los Mu***os! This beautiful holiday honors the lives of loved ones who have passed. Families and teachers are invited to bring a photo for our school’s Ofrenda (please label photos with your child’s name for safe return). Each class enjoyed a special activity, tasted Pan de Mu**to, and listened to a story about this meaningful tradition. Thank you for joining us in honoring this celebration together.

Update: We would like to thank everyone who has reached out and help Sandra and Rafa through this difficult time. We have an update and their daughter is finally back home and recovering. Here is a message from Isabelle ❤️
Hello everyone! I’m finally back home from the hospital. My name is Isabelle from the recent car accident: My feet are making slow progress as of now but it’s not as painful as before. I want to say thank you to everyone who donated and supported me through this difficult time. I really appreciate everyone who sent their best wishes towards my situation. Thank you all for your prayers and support, I really appreciate it. I want to also thank the Lord for giving me this opportunity and a second chance at life. I will continue to return back to college as soon as I get the chance, to get my degree in medicine.
The recovery hasn’t been easy but very painful but I’m starting to make slow progress. I appreciate everyone that sent their best wishes and sent their prayers for me during this difficult time. I had a lot of fractures in my body that made my recovery very difficult but I still carry the same desire to complete college and medical school so I can pursue my dream career as a doctor in the medical field. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the support and endless prayers. I will continue to push through this and keep a positive mind towards my situation.

Thank you to all our Discovery School families who joined us for Halloween Craft Night, Dance Party, and Trunk or Treat!
From creative crafts to the lively dance floor, it was a fantastic evening filled with laughter, music, and community spirit. We loved seeing everyone’s costumes and decorated trunks and can’t wait to celebrate together again next year!
This week was packed with exciting events! Mystery Reader Monday set the tone, followed by our Diwali celebration and learning about the Festival of Lights. The pumpkin patch was a fun event where the kids picked and decorated their own pumpkins. Later that day we had our spooktacular Halloween Dance, Dinner, Craft, and Trunk or Treat event.
On behalf of all of the teachers and staff at Discovery School, we want to wish you a wonderful Diwali! The children had so much fun celebrating, dancing and learning all about the Diwali celebrations🪔
This week was packed with spooky excitement! Parents got to joined in on the fun, decorating classroom doors and some reading to classes. Some classes learned about staying safe and healthy, while other classes created rainbow patterns, and played outside with friends. Halloween costume prep is still in full swing! A huge thank you to the DSPA for treating us to the Bob Baker Marionette Show - the kids loved it!
This week the children celebrated the Harvest Moon Festival, got to see Mr. Fun and started to create their Halloween costumes. In sports they learned about baseball and in music we danced to spooky Halloween music.

Our Parent & Me Fall Program is off to a wonderful start! Families are already enjoying music, art, and farm visits. We’re excited for the adventures still ahead.
