Mientras me preparo para cerrar este capítulo tan increíble después de siete años inolvidables como su director, quiero expresar mi más profundo agradecimiento por el camino que hemos recorrido juntos.

Estos años han estado llenos de momentos extraordinarios—algunos alegres, otros profundamente desafiantes. Hemos afrontado eventos que cambiaron nuestras vidas, lado a lado: desde navegar las incertidumbres del COVID-19 y las interrupciones causadas por los incendios forestales, hasta enfrentar recientemente las complejas realidades en torno a la inmigración. A través de todo, la fortaleza, compasión y resiliencia de esta comunidad nunca han flaqueado.

Ha sido un honor para mí servir junto a educadores dedicados, personal trabajador, familias solidarias y, lo más importante, los estudiantes que continúan inspirándonos cada día. Ver a nuestros jóvenes crecer, aprender y superar la adversidad ha sido uno de los mayores privilegios de mi tiempo como Director en Napa.

Aunque he aceptado ser Director en otra escuela, me llevo conmigo cada lección, cada recuerdo y cada relación que me ha formado aquí en Napa. Esta comunidad no ha sido solo mi lugar de trabajo—ha sido mi hogar.

Gracias por confiar en mí, por desafiarme y por permitirme crecer junto a ustedes. Inicio un nuevo capítulo en mi carrera como Director con un inmenso orgullo y un corazón lleno de gratitud.

Dear Community,
As I prepare to close this incredible chapter after seven unforgettable years as your principal, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the journey we've shared together.
These years have been filled with extraordinary moments—some joyful, others deeply challenging. We’ve weathered life-changing events side by side: from navigating the uncertainties of COVID-19 and the disruptions of wildfires, to more recently facing the complex realities surrounding immigration. Through it all, the strength, compassion, and resilience of this community have never wavered.
It has been my honor to serve alongside dedicated educators, hardworking staff, supportive families, and, most importantly, the students who continue to inspire us every day. Watching our young people grow, learn, and rise above adversity has been one of the greatest privileges of my time as a Principal at Napa.
Though I have accepted to be a Principal at another school, I carry with me every lesson, every memory, and every relationship that has shaped me here at Napa. This community has not just been my workplace—it has been my home.
Thank you for trusting me, for challenging me, and for allowing me to grow with you. I move on to a new chapter in my career as a Principal with immense pride and a heart full of appreciation.

Our Career Day Event was very successful today and our scholars had a lot of fun learning about different career options ahead of them! A special thank you goes out to Ms. Ismagil, Ms. Lample, Mr. Blond, and Mr. Heller for organizing this event as well as recruiting all the amazing people show ases today!

Nuestro evento del Día de las Carreras Profesionales fue todo un éxito hoy y nuestros estudiantes se divirtieron mucho aprendiendo sobre las diferentes opciones profesionales que les esperan. ¡Un agradecimiento especial a la Sra. Ismagil, la Sra. Lample, el Sr. Blond y el Sr. Heller por organizar este evento y por reclutar a todas las personas increíbles que asistieron hoy!

Congratulations to our young movie directors, producers, screenwriters, and actors on their Making Movies That Matter projects. We are all very proud of them! Today we honor the lives of the 1.5 million victims of the Armenian genocide of 1915, lost to a series of massacres and starvation by the Ottomans. In Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, hundreds of thousands of people walk to the Tsitsernakaberd Genocide Memorial to lay flowers at the eternal flame.
