The Gamma Upsilon chapter of Alpha Sigma Tau National Sorority is located at California State University, Los Angeles and was founded on September 25, 1993.

“I joined AST for so many reasons, but the main reason was because I felt welcomed, and can be myself around all the girls and I felt at home. (I also wanted to find future bridesmaids haha). I have learned how to make connections, be a mentor, and love myself. I learned that having positive women around you who are just as motivated to reach their goals, really opens doors for you and is a support system I never knew I needed. Being in this sisterhood was one of the best decisions I ever made.”

The minute I spoke to AST sisters I knew that it was the place where I wanted to bloom. I instantly felt like I belonged and fell in love with my AST sisters. I love being able to reach out to any of my sisters and all of them would be more than willing to be there for me. AST is more than just a sorority in college it’s a family that loves you whole heartedly no matter what.
