Start the Year with Appreciation and Patience
As we step into 2025, let’s begin with two powerful practices: appreciation and patience. This time of year, it’s natural to feel the weight of transitions—facing beginnings, endings, and settling back into routines. It’s a lot, and it’s okay to feel that.
During these darkest, coldest months for much of the northern hemisphere, our bodies are craving rest and nurturing. After the busyness of the holiday season, it’s a time to slow down, breathe, and offer ourselves the understanding we so often give to others.
Here’s how you can embrace this mindset as a parent:
Appreciate the Small Things: Notice the quiet moments—a smile from your child, the warmth of a blanket, or the taste of your morning tea. These little joys are what ground us.
Be Patient with Yourself and Others: Remind yourself and your children that it’s okay to move slowly right now. The world can feel overwhelming, but patience and understanding can soften the edges.
Honor What Your Body Needs: Like nature in winter, allow yourself to hibernate a bit. Rest more, do less, and trust that this season of slowness is necessary for renewal.
Teach Patience to Your Children: Share the idea of being gentle with themselves. Encourage them to listen to their bodies and emotions without judgment.
As parents, we often push ourselves to be everything for everyone. But right now, the most loving thing we can do is nurture ourselves and lead by example. Take it slow, breathe deeply, and remember that appreciation and patience are gifts we can give to ourselves and those we love.
Share this with someone who needs to hear it right now and drop a heart or comment below if this resonated with you.

Creating a Safe Haven for Our Children starts with creating one for ourselves
In today’s world, our children are constantly navigating judgment and comparison. Whether it’s chasing likes and comments online or feeling measured up by peers and teachers at school, they often face pressures we never imagined growing up.
When they come home to us, we have a beautiful opportunity to be their sanctuary—a space where they feel secure, loved, and completely free of judgment.
But how do we create that? By taking time to regulate and nurture ourselves.
By taking care of yourself, you can then:
✨ Listen without fixing.
✨ Focus on their effort, not just outcomes.
✨ Be mindful of our reactions.
✨ Offer unconditional love.
When children feel truly seen, valued, and accepted at home, they develop the resilience and self-worth to navigate the world’s judgments with confidence and grace. Let’s be that place of peace and love for them, the soft landing they can always return to.
Follow the steps in today's post to help you show up nurtured and regulated. Let the R.E.A.L. Method for Parents be your guide.

A Gentle Reminder for Parents this Holiday Season 🎄🕎
As parents, it’s so easy to take things personally—whether it’s our kids' meltdowns, the tone of a loved ones voice, or even a stranger’s offhand comment.
But here’s the truth: other people’s actions are not a reflection of you.
What they say or do speaks to their journey, their emotions, and where they are in their growth—not yours. As we gather with family over the next few days, try to keep this in mind.
Instead of reacting or internalizing, try to simply observe. Take a deep breath, ground yourself, and remember that your peace doesn’t have to be shaken by someone else’s storm.
This simple shift in perspective can create more calm, trust, and joy—not just for you, but for everyone around you.
Wishing you all a very merry, happy, joyous and peaceful holiday season.

What If?
Parenting is a beautiful, challenging, and often overwhelming journey. There are days when it feels like the struggles outweigh the joys, and the chaos overshadows the calm. But what if all of it—the late nights, the worries, the moments you doubted yourself—has been leading you to a brighter, more peaceful chapter in your life?
✨ What if everything does work out, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now?
✨ What if the version of you emerging through these challenges is exactly who you needed to be all along?
✨ What if the hard work, the sacrifices, and the love you pour into your family lead to something extraordinary?
Imagine replacing the doubts and negativity with hope and optimism. How might your thoughts shift? How might your actions change?
I believe it could transform everything.
Commit to choosing trust over fear, love over frustration, and optimism over doubt. You have the power to rewrite the narrative, to create more calm, joy, and connection—not just for your family, but for you too.
This weekend take a moment to pause and ask yourself:
What if this is all leading to something truly beautiful?
💛 Sending you love and light,
Natalie

❤️ Love Creates Love ❤️
Every thought, word, and action you put into the world has energy. When you choose love, you create a ripple effect of compassion, kindness, and connection that touches everything around you. But when we choose anger, resentment, or hate, we create barriers—walls that keep us separated from the peace and joy we crave.
So, what do you want to create in your life?
Let's all make a choice to create more LOVE!
Here are 3 powerful tools to help you create more love in your life starting today:
🙏 Practice Gratitude:
Focus on what you do have rather than what’s missing. By appreciating the small blessings in your life, you shift your energy toward abundance and love. Gratitude is a powerful magnet for more love, joy, and peace.
👂Compassionate Listening:
Open your heart by truly listening to others without judgment or interruption. When you listen with compassion, you create space for deeper connection and understanding, fostering love in your relationships.
🤔 Daily Affirmations:
Speak love into your life every day. Start your mornings with affirmations like, “I am worthy of love,” or “I choose to create love and peace in every moment.” These simple words can transform your mindset and help you align with the energy of love.
Remember, love is a choice.
The more love you create within yourself, the more it will flow into the world around you. Start small, but start today. Want more support on your journey?

Are you feeling STUCK in survival mode?
Are worry, stress, fear, and frustration overwhelming your life?
Do you find yourself constantly thinking, “This always happens to me,” or “Nothing ever goes my way”? Does the world seem like a scary place, filled with uncertainty, leaving you feeling powerless and trapped?
If you’ve noticed that you’re stuck in the same negative patterns, or perhaps blaming others for your circumstances, you may be living in what we call survival mode.
Survival mode is like being on autopilot in a state of constant reaction—always bracing for the next challenge, setback, or disappointment. It’s exhausting and can make you feel like a victim of life’s circumstances. But here’s the truth: this mindset could be the very thing holding you back from stepping into a life of love, peace, and joy.
If you'd like tips on how to get yourself out of this mode and into a mode of love, freedom and peace, message me and I'll send you the email with tips.
