💭 I woke up thinking about the hundreds of young playwrights whose ideas, questions, characters, feelings, and missions our selection committee had the privilege to read this year for 29th Annual Young Playwrights Festival.
🎭 I wish each writer knew how much we respect that you submitted to us and appreciate the opportunity to read what’s on your mind.

💭 thinking js often just as important as writing ✍️

🌺 For some of us, spring is springing in our communities. The emergence of flowers after a long winter always reminds me of the emergence of new ideas after a period of rest/intake. 💡

🧱I don’t believe in “blocks” with writing - I believe in periods where you input more than you output. Each of those periods are valuable and grow your creating process. 💫

🌈 Whether spring has arrived for your next big idea or you are still germinating underground, be gentle with yourself and your pace. Your story will arrive when it’s ready to bloom. ✍️
