Our mission is to create a safe space and a strong voice to advocate for API faculty and staff across the USC community.

The Asian Pacific Islander Faculty and Staff Association (APIFSA) was formed in April 2021 in response to the increase in anti-API hatred and violence reported around the country. Our purpose is achieved through six actions:

Support/Community
Awareness/Outreach
Professional Development/Networking/Mentorship

Happy Friday! Last Thursday rocked with Professor Amrita Dhaliwal at USC APIFSA's Industry & Identity series. Amrita, an award-winning Punjabi American comedian, arts leader, educator, and devising artist from LA, lit up the stage. Huge thanks to Anita Dashiell-Sparks, USC School of Dramatic Arts () Associate Dean of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, for kicking things off, and to Megan Chao, APIFSA Chair-Elect, for guiding the conversation.
