“Completers” are students who successfully complete a school’s career pathway. The Los Angeles Unified School District CTE-Linked Learning department is visiting our schools with the top five highest “completers.”

On June 3, we dropped by for Huntington Park Institute of Applied Medicine to visit Principal Chaikittirattana and his outstanding team. HPIAM had an 88.3% completion rate for the class of 2025, ranking it as the top school in LAUSD for the second consecutive year.

This takes an incredible effort from students, staff, teachers, counselors, and administrators. Congrats to all! LAUSD Region East

👏 Congratulations to the students of the Phineas Banning High School Production and Managerial Arts career pathway who completed internships during the school year and were recognized with certificates from the Office of Assemblymember Mike Gipson! 🎉

Through experiences as Intern Ambassadors and Stage Crew interns, students developed leadership, communication, teamwork, and career readiness skills while gaining valuable hands-on experience. From mentoring peers and participating in mock interviews to supporting live performances, managing costumes and props, and assisting with technical production, students applied their learning in real-world settings.

These internships helped students build confidence, explore career pathways, and prepare for success in college, careers, and beyond.
