✨ Aphram and I had a fantastic time at the “SBSA Business Lab: From Overwhelmed to Optimized” hosted by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.

Clint Tabon and Jorge Jeffery shared thoughtful and practical strategies for helping business owners create more clarity, efficiency, and purpose in both leadership and operations.

One of the best parts of the event was connecting with so many interesting professionals from different industries and crossing paths again with a former parent from my Lunada Bay Elementary days!

I’m grateful for the learning, conversations, and new connections. Looking forward to more events like this in the future. ✨

💬 May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month!

It’s a reminder of how much we rely on communication in our everyday lives. The conversations, the connections, the little moments we often take for granted.

Communication isn’t just verbal. It’s gestures, expressions, devices, signs, and all the different ways people share who they are with the world.

Shoutout to the speech-language pathologists and audiologists who help people find their voice, be heard, and feel understood. The work you do changes lives in ways that really matter.

Teachers shape how students see themselves as learners.

At ESP, we’ve seen that when students struggle, it’s rarely about ability. More often, it’s about ensuring students have access to the tools and strategies that make learning accessible.

The real shift happens when educators are supported to pause, adjust and meet students where they are.

Our work is designed to partner with schools and districts to strengthen that capacity.

We see the care, patience and intention teachers bring to this work every day. When systems support teachers, students thrive.

🌟 Wrapping up an outstanding CASE Conference!

💛 Such an incredible few days of learning, connecting, and sharing ideas with dedicated education professionals from across the country.

📋 On day two, Kevin Rubenstein & Cherie Johnson shared timely updates on federal special education policy, the current state of the Department of Education, and the Office for Civil Rights. They also led a thoughtful discussion on how these developments may impact students’ academic journeys.

The conference concluded with an insightful session led by Phyllis Wolfram & Julie Weatherly on important current events in education at the federal level that are impacting public education.

😌 Feeling grateful and inspired by the knowledge, new connections, and fresh perspectives as I continue supporting those who support our students.

What a fantastic first day at the CASE Conference!

It was such an engaging experience, from meeting Dr. Shana Fancher and exploring how AI can be leveraged in the world of special education to connecting with Julie Weatherly, Esq. for a great discussion about all things Section 504.

Grateful for the insights and conversations today. Can’t wait to see what day two brings!

This week, I’m joining educators across the country in celebrating National School Psychology Week, a time to honor the incredible role school psychologists play in helping students learn, grow, and thrive.

This year’s theme, “Finding Your Path,” highlights how school psychologists guide students, families, and school teams toward clarity, confidence, and success. Over my 25 years in education, I’ve been fortunate to work with many amazing school psychs whose empathy and insight have made a lasting difference. Many have become dear friends, and I’m so grateful for their dedication, wisdom, collaboration, and friendship.

Here’s to all the school psychs out there. Thank you for helping students find their way and for reminding us what meaningful impact looks like. 💛
