Meet Rhyme and Reason -
Joe Nassi
A classic entertainment 'generalist', Joe has been acting, directing, producing, fight directing, writing, teaching and just plain entertaining all up and down the west coast. As a child, seeing Richard Chamberlin as Hamlet hooked Joe on Shakespeare and he has never looked back. Working with classical drama was a large part of his training at the University of Washington. Post graduate study at the Drama Studio London at Berkeley expanded on the classical training, teaching him how to combine craft-driven script analysis with the actor’s emotional freedom and expression. Joe is delighted to be a founding member of Rhyme and Reason, able to share his love for the artistry and craft of Shakespeare’s writing.
