🌟 Family Spotlight: the Vukadinovich family

Legacy families carry the LMU spirit forward through generations of Lions. David Vukadinovich ’92 is part of one family whose Lion pride spans more than 50 years and has never been stronger. A current member of the LMU Board of Regents, David is a proud alumnus and Lion parent. “LMU provided me with a rigorous liberal arts education that prepared me well for law school and graduate school, but the LMU culture and community made the biggest impression on me and continue to shape who I am today.”

David’s dad Steve and uncle Mike (pictured in the image on the left) both graduated in ’74 and are now Golden Lions. David’s brother is also an alumnus, and his son Hayden is Class of 2029. David and his father celebrated Sophia’s graduation together in May (pictured on the right). Thanks for sharing your story, David!

Enjoy summer at LMU with several events on the bluff this week! Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy, “Hamlet,” comes to life on the Drollinger Family Stage in our ninth season of Shakespeare on the Bluff. Join us for free performances this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The shows begin at 8 p.m. and run for 90-100 minutes. The figurative doors of the outdoor theatre open at 6 p.m. On Friday, “F1: The Movie” will be playing on O’Malley Lawn at 8 p.m. RSVP to receive free swag. Lion Pride Friday alert! 🚨 We celebrate LMU Board of Trustees member Eric E. Castelblanco ’86, a champion for the Latino/a/x community, professionally and personally. As the founder of Castelblanco Law Group, ⚖️ Eric fights for tenants living in substandard housing conditions. As host of the Vivamos Latino Podcast, 🎤 he speaks to individuals who share stories of struggle, reinvention, faith, and triumph. And as an alumnus, 🎓 Eric established the Castelblanco Annual Scholarship in 2018 and the Castelblanco Endowed Scholarship in 2022.
