🚀🛰️ Blast off with our first episode of the new year, featuring DJ Rock-It Man! 🛰️🚀

Meet Dave, a UCLA Aerospace Engineering alum with nearly 40 years of experience in the space industry! 🌌✨ From analyzing how spacecraft move in orbit to managing complex vehicle-to-launch systems, Dave has seen it all. In his most recent role as Mission Integration Manager at The Aerospace Corporation, he specialized at integrating multiple small spacecraft into large rockets. 🚀📦

Since retiring this past August, Dave hasn’t slowed down—he’s a dedicated supporter of EYU and a mentor to the next generation of Bruins through the UCLA engineering mentorship program! 🎓💙🐻

Tune in to listen to Maria Vincent, a PhD Candidate in Astronomy at the Institute of Astronomy in University of Hawaii 💫, in this week’s podcast! Currently based at the W.M Keck Observatory, 🔭Maria is an alumna of UCLA (Geophysics & Astrophysics BS, Class of 2020) and an alumna of EYU! 🐻 When she’s not taking pictures of circumstellar disks and working on deformable mirrors, she enjoys outreach, blogging, hiking, 🥾 snorkeling, 🤿enjoying coffee ☕and chocolate 🍫, and immersing herself in a good book, movie or TV show!
