👩‍🎓 On June 4th, scholars at Para Los Niños Middle School celebrated their 8th grade culmination with friends and family. We are so incredibly proud of all they have overcome, accomplished and conquered this year.

We recognized 34 Legacy Scholars - students who have been with Para Los Niños since preschool age, from a PLN early education center through our elementary and middle schools!

None of this is possible without our incredible staff of educators, social workers, community school coordinators and expanded learning team. Most importantly, we do this in partnership with the powerful families supporting at home, on campus, and in the community. Congratulations to all! 🎉

On June 3rd, we celebrated the milestone achievement of our 5th grade class at PLN Elementary School: graduating! In just a few short months these scholars will start 6th grade and a brand new chapter. Students were honored with awards in math, science, language arts, and more! A special thank you to all our educators at the elementary school for providing the space, mindset, and guidance for our students to excel 📚🎓✏️📖🎉

Para Los Niños Kindergartners recently reached a huge milestone: they culminated and will start first grade next school year. What an accomplishment!

During the grand celebration, we recognized students' accomplishments and awarded medals to those who excelled in Science, English, and Math, as well as those who demonstrated sufficient English language proficiency and were reclassified as fluent English speakers. Families, teachers, and peers cheered as each honoree was called to the stage, making the event both memorable and inspiring for all students and their families. 💙

Thanks to the Para Los Niños Youth Workforce Services program, a cohort of PLN Middle Schoolers have been learning new skills to prepare them for the workforce, including CPR, AED and First Aid training!

As part of a 96-hour internship, scholars have been getting PAID experience while supporting school safety, cleanliness, and culture. In addition to the life-saving skills they’ve gained working on-campus, they’ve also learned about resume building, self-advocacy, and workplace norms.
SHOUTOUT TO THESE FUTURE HEROES!
