This may not seem like a big deal to some. However to me it is monumental.
This symbolizes a new chapter in my life.

All of my life I have been called to serve humanity and to help people transform themselves and their lives.

I wanted to help those that felt like I did growing up and to help people to overcome all types of trauma.

It had to start with me first though! I had to first heal myself.

It may have taken me 55 years, but I have arrived to the place where I can now do the things previously mentioned.

It feels great knowing I have truly earned it in every possible way, not just academically.

So, this little ring, means the world to me symbolically!

I am ever so grateful and overwhelmed with joy!

For those that have always stood by me and believed in me, thank you, from the core of my being!

It has been 35 years ago today, that I went to Bootcamp/Basic Training for the U.S.A.F. and yesterday, Jan. 7th made 23 years since I got out of the U.S.M.C..

Doesn't it all go by in a blink?

All I can say is, enjoy the ride while it lasts!

As people we get caught up in the notion of where we are going and what it will be like when we get there.
In the meantime we kind of dismiss and miss out on the best and most important part...the beauty of the present moment and the journey!

Take it easy friends and relish the moment!
