Delaney Wright Fine Arts Preschool Eagle Rock

It was a bubble PARTY this morning with Ms. Nicole and 🫧! We kicked off the first week of Summer Session and Camp Delaney Wright Eagle Rock making some big bubbles and popping some big bubbles!

A big thank you to Ms. Nicole and Bubblemania! We can’t wait to keep the good times going for the rest of summer ☀️!

Who are these big kids?? We had our graduation photos yesterday with the always wonderful and it’s hard not to shed a tear seeing these big kids getting ready to move on to elementary school! There were lots of smiles and a few tears from the teachers, and now we’re ready for the big ceremony next week 👩🏽‍🎓🎓!

We were some lucky ducks this morning when we got a visit from Fire Station 55 🚒! The Poppy class, who unfortunately weren’t able to tour Station 42 on their annual walk this year, were able to see this firetruck up close and pass along a thank you banner they made for our community helpers. They also got to see their teachers all dressed up in that heavy firefighter gear! All of our classes got to learn about the fire truck and ambulance and the Eucalyptus class even got to go inside the ambulance. One of our brave Eucalyptus children ALSO got to show how the gurney works and was lifted out of the ambulance! To top it all off, we got to see the fire hose in action! A huge thank you Station 55 for an amazing visit 🚒!

Only one more sleep til one of our favorite days of the entire school year, Spring Show Day! We can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working so hard on for the past five months and hope everyone is ready to travel on down the road with us for our 2026 Spring Show, TAKE ME HOME, COUNTRY ROADS!

A HUGE thank you to two of our mommas, Andrea and Resa, for once again creating the stage of our dreams! It’s even more stunning in person and we can’t wait for you to see it along with each of our performers (in their amazing costumes)!

Make sure you’re packed and ready, we’ll see you tomorrow for the road trip 🏜️!

A huge thank you to our amazing families for a fantastic Teacher Appreciation Week! Each day our superstar teachers and staff were treated according to that day’s theme (some tasty snacks, luxurious spa items, heavenly flowers, delicious breakfast) and every member of our staff (teachers, admin, housekeeping, maintenance) received a gift on behalf of all the families from the Teacher Appreciation Committee!

We ❤️ our teachers and staff and are thankful for all the hard work they put in day in and day out every day! Teacher Appreciation Week is an important time to show our appreciation for our educators and we want to thank everyone for their participation in the week and their showering of love! Yay teachers 🍎 🏫!

Delaney Wright Eagle Rock Open House 2026 was a whimsical fun time ✏️! We loved welcoming all of our current families to check out what their children are up to each day AND we got to see all of our new families who will be joining us in the upcoming new school year! A huge shoutout to our amazing teachers and staff for such a great night and thank you to all the DWER families who joined us this evening!

Grab the car snacks, turn the dial up, and get ready for a road trip to remember🚙 🗺️ ! Delaney Wright Fine Arts Preschool Eagle Rock is proud to present our 2026 Spring Show, Take Me Home, Country Roads! We’re making our way west and hitting all the hot spots along the way 🏜️🚗🧳!

Doors open at 9:45 AM and the show starts promptly at 10:15 AM (listen for “I’m Coming Out” by the incomparable Diana Ross because it means we’re coming out shortly!). Remember all of our stars must be in their classrooms by 9:15 AM to watch snack and get stage-ready. We will host our family picnic immediately following the show, so remember to bring a tasty picnic and a blanket! The show is for currently enrolled families and their guests ONLY and more info will be emailed before the show.

We can’t wait to see you all there for our road trippin’ good time!

🪭 We sang, we twirled, we made our own drag queen puppets, and we had a blast at Drag Queen Story Hour at with and !

We loved listening to some fantastic books, twirling like the dance of the drag queen (if you know, you know), and the Eucalyptus class hung around after to make their own drag queen puppets to take home (with some great drag names such as “Pretty Sparkle” and “Rainbow Princess Sparkle”). A huge thank you as always to the Caitlin and the whole staff at the Eagle Rock Library and Annie Biotixx and Pickle, we ❤️ drag story hour!

In celebration of Read Across America Day, we had our annual Book Character Dress Up Day! We had plenty of Pete the Cats, crayons on strike, Winnie the Poohs, Hungry Caterpillars, and even Lowly Worm and the Grouchy Ladybug at school today! We paraded over to the for a story time with their children’s librarian, Caitlin, and enjoyed listening to stories at the library! We ❤️ reading and we ❤️ 📚!
